Andrea Aromatics, Inc. has been formulating and manufacturing fragrances and deodorants from our New Jersey facility since 1980. Three generations of the D’Andrea family later, we’re still doing the same thing: building fragrances that actually work in the real world.
Most of what we do is industrial and functional. A fragrance that performs in a candle may completely fail inside a rubber compound. An odor neutralizer for laundry detergent needs a totally different approach when you’re working with paints and coatings. Every project starts from scratch - based on your chemistry, your manufacturing process, and your performance targets.
We don’t pull catalog fragrances and call it custom work. We formulate from the ground up, and we’re honest with customers when something won’t perform the way they need it to.

Three generations. One philosophy.
Sam D’Andrea founded the company in 1980 with a straightforward idea: every customer’s product is different, and off-the-shelf fragrances usually don’t cut it. That’s still the operating philosophy 45 years later.
His sons Richard and Michael joined the business and grew it through relationships built the old-fashioned way - by actually solving customer problems and not overselling what a fragrance can do. Second and third generations of the family now lead the company.
We’re still based in New Jersey. Still family-owned. Still doing custom work for every customer - whether that’s a first order or a repeat formula they’ve been buying for 20 years.
